Thought bubble #2

This doesn't quite work I know. I'm still thinking about it.

However, every time I hear about Katie Price - her divorce, her children, her re-marriage - I'm reminded of the book of Hosea. The story of a man who goes back to his disobedient wife time and time again as an illustration of how God loves Israel despite it's infidelity.

I'm not suggesting that Ms Price is a bad mother (Gomer and Hosea's daughters were called 'Unloved' and 'Not Mine' - like something out of Beckett...).  I'm also not suggesting she's an adulterer or any more sinful than I am. In fact, there are lots of things I really like about her. Which is probably where the comparison falls apart. But,  I love the fact that regardless of her behaviour and the rumours surrounding her, she is loved. By a Cagefighter and also by God.

Because we all are (God, not Cagefighter). Even if some people may think we are hopeless cases, not worth pursuing, too dangerous to touch, He doesn't agree.

Phew.
